长城网·冀云客户端讯（记者 孟维仑）今天，我想讲讲重阳节。它是中国一个非常重要的传统节日，在农历九月初九。因为《易经》中把“九”定位阳数，九月九日，两九相重，故而叫重阳。

　　古时，重阳节有“登高望远”的习俗，这一习俗源于东汉。相传东晋大诗人谢灵运为了登高还专门制作了一种登山木屐，人称“谢公屐”。另外，“登高”有“高升”之寓意，并且，“高”有“高寿”的意思，寓意人们可以长寿。

　　重阳节“遍插茱萸”的风俗，在唐代就已经很普遍。古人认为在重阳节这一天插茱萸可以辟邪消灾。

　　又是一年重阳节。我们应当时刻铭记这个节日，将其珍贵的价值代代相传。

　　Today I want to talk about the Double Ninth Festival.It is a special Chinese festival.It comes on the 9th day of the 9th lunar mouth.In The Book of Changes,“nine” is believed to be a Yang number,and there are two nines on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month,that's why it is called the Double Ninth Festival.In ancient times,people observed the custom of “climbing high and looking far ”on this day.

　　The custom originated in the Eastern Han Dynasty.It is said that Xie Lingyun,a great poet of the Eastern jin Dynasty,especially made a pair of wooden clogs,called“Xie Gong clogs”,for mountain climbing.Besides, “ascending a height”has a symbolic meaning of “promotion”and “high”means “longevity”,which means people can live a long life.From the Tang Dynasty,the custom of “inserting dogwood throughout” on the Double Ninth Festival had already been very popular.The ancients thought that wearing dogwood on this day could avoid evil spirits and ward off bad luck.

　　The Double Ninth Festival is coming again.We should always remember this day and share it with our family.
